About the Author/作者介绍： Dalton Trumbo知名的編劇和作家，奧黛莉赫本主演的《羅馬假期》就是他在監獄完成的作品，但當時50年代他被列入好萊塢共產黨黑名單，因此無法於影片裡掛名，直到40年後重新以數位修復影帶，才被正式於片頭掛名。
《JOHNNY GOT HIS GUN》是作者於1938年完成的反戰小說，1971年Dalton Trumbo自己把這部小說改拍成電影，而該片也獲得1971年坎城影展評審團特別獎和國際影評人聯盟獎。
