Time finds Gwyn alone, housing her father, whose mind has been ravaged by Alzheimer’s disease, and fighting for control in her practice as junior partners jockey for power.
Along with her best friends Fleur and Kat, who have also recently found themselves single, the three cling together as they saunter into their menopausal stage of life with renewed vigor and self-assurance.

About the Author/作者介绍： This is Toby Devens’s first novel. She is also author of the Erma Bombeck-like book of poetry, Mercy Lord! My Husband’s in the Kitchen, published by Doubleday (hardcover) and Avon (paperback) in 1980. Devens lives in Clarksville, Maryland.
