About the Author/作者介绍： Alla White (1987) is a London-based illustrator, writer and multidisciplinary artist with a unique combination of scientific thinking and visual storytelling. She holds an MA in Mathematics, grew up in a family of artists, and later studied illustration in the UK — merging analytical precision with an intuitive artistic background.

Alla has illustrated over 30 children’s books for international publishers, worked across fiction, non-fiction, comics, and educational projects, and developed multiple original IPs.

Her work is known for its clarity, humour, strong visual metaphors and the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging way.

A passionate self-learner and science enthusiast, she continuously studies neuroscience, physics, history, philosophy, and technology — through books, lectures, expert conversations and research. This blend of disciplines makes her uniquely equipped to create educational books that are not only accurate, but also visually compelling, emotionally engaging and deeply accessible for young readers.
