About the Author/作者介绍： Gemma Barder is an author of a variety of children’s books and specialises in activity books and middle grade chapter books. She has written about everything from dinosaurs to Jane Austen - and all that comes in between! She lives in the midlands with her family and a mischievous cocker spaniel.
Bindy James is an illustrator from Yugambeh country/Logan, Australia, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and two pugaliers (Ziggy and Moose). After initially completing a degree in environmental science, she retrained as a graphic/motion designer, graduating from the Southbank Institute of Technology in 2014. From there she moved into illustration, which she absolutely adores. Bindy is constantly fascinated by our natural world. Since having her own children, she has become interested in how little ones relate to and learn from their local natural environment. Bindy’s illustrations are a combination of digital painting and traditional collage/mixed media. Aged paper, watercolor, and pencil marks feature heavily in her work. Bindy is also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
